1. Welcome
1.1. Welcome to helenhelen.co.uk. The helenhelen.co.uk website and the services provided through it are operated and owned by Helen Wilson (“I”, “me” or “my” as appropriate).
1.2. To make these Terms quicker to read, I use a few key definitions: I refer to Helen Wilson who is seeking to raise funds and offer Rewards for doing so as Helen Wilson, their fundraising project as “Project”, the aims of a Project as its “Project Goal”, visitors to the site that support this project by contributing funds as “Backers”, their contributions as “Pledges”, Community Members and other visitors to the site are referred to as “Users” or “you”, as applicable.
1.3. The Help page of helenhelen.co.uk exists to raise funds for Helen Wilson’s Masters Course. Helen Wilson offers unique works of art (“Rewards”) as ‘thank you’ gifts for this support.
1.4. Please read these Terms carefully before you start to use helenhelen.co.uk/help, as they will govern your use of the website and the Pledges you make as a Backer.
1.5. By using helenhelen.co.uk, you confirm that you accept these Terms and that you agree to comply with them.

2. Your privacy and my use of cookies
2.1. We take your privacy very seriously. Please read my Privacy Policy to see how I use your personal information.
2.2. Like many online services I use a feature called a 'cookie', which is a small data file that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your device's hard drive. References in these Terms to ‘cookies’ also include other means of automatically accessing or storing information on your device. Please see helenhelen.co.uk/cookie-policy for detailed information on the types of cookies I use on helenhelen.co.uk.
3. Offering Rewards and making Pledges.
3.1. This section sets out the terms that apply to the Rewards Helen Wilson offers or the Pledges you make in support of the project.
3.2. Helen Wilson’s Obligations
3.2.1. Helen Wilson shall:
a) apply any funds she receive from Backers solely and directly for the purposes of achieving the Project Goals and use them for no other purposes;
b) meet all commitments she makes in your Project including, but not limited to, delivering all Rewards offered to Backers;
c) aim to send each Reward on the specific day/s that has been bought.
d) promptly and accurately respond in full to all queries, clarifications or requests made by any Backer;
e) comply with all her obligations under data protection and privacy laws. As Helen Wilson is a ‘controller’ of the personal information received about Backers for the purposes of these laws, she must provide to Backers all the information required by those laws regarding your processing of their personal information and comply with any rights they validly exercise under those laws. Please see my Privacy Policy for further information;
f) promptly contact and work with Backers to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution if she is unable to fulfil any of your commitments
g) be responsible for paying all fees and collecting and remitting all applicable taxes (including income tax and VAT or similar taxes) connected with the Pledges received and the Rewards offered
4. Backers
4.1. Types of contribution
4.1.1. Backers can contribute to a Project by making a pledge by buying one day, 5 days (a week), 20 days (a month), 56 days (a term) or 170 days (a year)
4.1.2. You acknowledge that your contribution does not entitle you to any rights in or to any Project, including any ownership, control or intellectual property rights.
5. Making a Pledge.
5.1. You can make a Pledge by visiting helenhelen.co.uk/help, selecting the day/s you wish to contribute and selecting your payment method and submitting payment.
a) If buying one day, the Backer chooses the day from the available days and completes purchase.
b) If the Backer is buying 5 days (a week), the days allocated to the Backer will be next 5 available days which will be allocated within 24 hours of purchase.
c) If the Backer is buying 20 days (a month), the days allocated to the Backer will be next 20 available days which will be allocated within 24 hours of purchase.
d) If the Backer is buying 56 days (a term), the days allocated to the Backer will be next 56 available days which will be allocated within 24 hours of purchase.
e) If the Backer is buying 170 days (a year), the days allocated to the Backer will be next 170 available days which will be allocated within 24 hours of purchase.
5.1.1. If the Backer buys a week, month, term or year and would like to choose the specific days to be allocated to them, the Backer needs to contact Helen Wilson on helenwilson9@outlook.com or fill in the contact form on helenhelen.co.uk/about.
6. Rewards
6.1. Type of Rewards
6.1.1. By buying a day or a longer period of time, the Backer can choose to receive a Reward. This Reward will be a piece of Artwork either sent through the post or emailed depending on the Backer’s preference.
The form, content, quality, quantity and any other characteristic relating to the Reward will vary and will be completely at Helen Wilson’s discretion.
Helen Wilson is not required to provide any information relating to the Reward to the Backer prior to sending it.
6.2. Choosing delivery of Reward
6.2.1. If you would like your Reward sent to your billing address, you do this by choosing this option in the dropdown menu on the specific item page.
6.2.2. If you would like your Reward sent to a different address to your billing address, you must complete payment and then contact Helen Wilson on helenwilson9@outlook.com or fill in the contact form on helenhelen.co.uk/about with the alternative address.
6.2.3. If you would like your Reward emailed to you, you can do this by choosing this option in the dropdown menu on the specific item page.
6.2.4. If you wish you may make a Pledge and elect not to receive a Reward, you can do this by using the dropdown menu on specific item page.
6.3. Delivery of Reward
6.3.1. Helen Wilson aims to send the Reward to the Backer on the day/s that they have purchased
6.3.1.1. If this is not possible, she will aim to send it within 20 days after the day that has been bought.
6.3.1.2. If the Reward is not sent within these 20 days, the Backer will receive an email with an explanation and an expected delivery date.
6.3.1.3. In the unlikely event that Helen Wilson is not able to send a Reward to a Backer, the Backer will be notified and have an option of a refund.
6.3.1.4. Helen Wilson holds no responsibility for loss or damage of the Reward during its delivery.
7. Payment methods
7.1. Once you have confirmed the amount you wish to Pledge, you will be prompted to pay via my third party payment processors: Stripe. These payment processing services are provided by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd respectively and the terms and conditions of those services will apply to the payments you make using them. Any personal information you provide to these payment providers will be processed in accordance with their privacy policies and not ours. Please see my privacy policy at helenhelen.co.uk/privacy-policy for further details regarding your personal information and the third party service providers that I use.
7.2. Fees payable by Backers
7.2.1. If you choose to pay a Pledge then no processing fees are payable in addition to your Pledge amount.
8. Cancelling a pledge
8.1. The Backer must inform Helen Wilson if they want to cancel their Pledge and obtain a refund 14 days before the day/s that were purchased.
8.2. In the unlikely event that Helen Wilson doesn’t complete her Project- the Masters Course, she is under no obligation to refund the Backer’s Pledges.
9. Backers’ Obligations
9.1. As a Backer, you shall:
a) promptly respond to Helen Wilson following a request for information reasonably required by Helen Wilson to fulfil a Reward.
b) comply with the terms and conditions for the payment processing services provided by my third party payment providers (please see paragraph 7.1, Payment Methods, for further details regarding those providers and the applicable terms and conditions); and
c) ensure that any funds used to make Pledges will not result in a breach of applicable law.
10. Other important terms
10.1. The contract between Project Owners and Backers
10.1.1. The following steps have to take place before a contract is made between the Backer and the Project Owner:
a) the Backer makes a Pledge by submitting their payment details for processing and pressing “buy... day/week/month/term/year”. Before making their Pledge, the Backer will have the opportunity to review the Pledge amount within the Stripe payments website and if necessary, to amend these details; and
b) the Backer will see an on-screen acknowledgement of their Pledge and receive an email confirming details of the Pledge made, to the email address provided by the Backer within 2 working days of payment being made.
11. General complaints and requests for further information
11.1. We want to give you great customer service but sometimes things do go wrong. I can usually resolve most issues quickly, so please email me to tell me how I can help.
11.2. If you have any general complaints or wish to request further information about helenhelen.co.uk, please contact on helenwilson9@outlook.com and I will do my best to resolve these.
11.3. Any complaint made will be acknowledged within 20 days.
12. Changes to these Terms and to helenhelen.co.uk
12.1. We reserve the right to change, suspend or discontinue the helenhelen.co.uk website and/or the service I provide through it (including the availability of any feature, functionality database or content) at any time and for any reason I may also introduce or remove limits on certain features or restrict your access to all or certain parts of helenhelen.co.uk without notice to you and without incurring any liability.
